Submitting Events to the Newsletter

To submit an event for inclusion in our newsletter, please visit the Submit Your Event section and complete the online form — or simply email us at [email protected].

No, there is absolutely no cost to have your public event listed in our newsletter.

Yes, please submit your event at least 2-3 days before the newsletter launch date (1st and 15th of each month). 

We list public events happening within the Sudbury East region — including Markstay-Warren, St.-Charles, French River, Dokis, and Killarney.

We welcome all kinds of events: yard sales, community gatherings, fundraisers, festivals, markets, sports activities, concerts, workshops, business networking events, and more.

When submitting an event, please be ready to provide the event name, date, start and end time, location, a brief description, organizer contact information, any applicable entry or registration fees, and age requirements. For events with multiple activities, please include the specific start and end times, as well as any registration or fee details for each activity.

Yes, we accept recurring events! You only need to fill out the event submission form once — after that, you can simply email us any updates or new dates as they come up.

Yes, you can upload an image to accompany your event submission.

After you submit your event through our online form, you’ll get an automated confirmation message that it was received. We’ll review your submission to make sure it meets our listing guidelines. If we need any more details, we’ll reach out by email — so be sure to add [email protected] to your contacts to prevent our messages from going to your spam folder.

Generally, all events that meet our guidelines will be included in our upcoming newsletters. We will only contact you directly if there is an issue with the information you provided.

If you need to make any edits or updates to your event listing after submitting it, please email us at [email protected] as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours of your initial submission.

If your event is cancelled or rescheduled, please inform us immediately by emailing [email protected]. We will then take the necessary steps to notify our newsletter subscribers of the change.
